Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English actress, model and singer who achieved fame in the 1990s when she became Hugh Grant's girlfriend. As of 1994, Hugh Grant was the center of global media attention because of the worldwide box office success of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley accompanied him to the premiere of the film in Los Angeles premiere in a plunged black Versace gown, which was pinned together by gold safety pins that earned her instant media notice. The relationship she has had with Estee Lauder has been the major highlight of her career. Hurley's first job as a model was at Estee Lauder, when she was just 29 years old. She's worked as a model from 1995 in their line of products, including perfumes like Sensuous Intuition or Pleasures. Most famously, she is known for her part as Vanessa Kensington, in the hit spy comedy films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley has been a model for and creates his own clothing line for the beach. The track quickly generated debate as critics denigrated it as a proponent of gay relationships while others claimed that the explicit scenario it depicted catered to men's fantasies about female sexuality. Nevertheless the combination of exuberance and refined melodicism helped I Kissed a Girl become a number one hit across multiple countries, generating sales for her album One of the Boys (2008). Hot N Cold, Perry's energetic and vibrant album featuring the second single that became a hit, also was a hit. The album Perry wrote herself sold more than three million copies.
